D.C. athletes support Bryce Harper for All-Star Game

(MARK BLINCH - REUTERS)
If you spend your day obsessively checking social media sites (not it!), you might have noticed that a bunch of Washington Redskins have taken to Twitter on Monday, asking fans to vote Bryce Harper in to the All-Star game.

And you might also have noticed that they used virtually identical language when making that pitch.

So yes, it’s true, the Nats asked their fellow D.C. sports teams to help promote Harper’s candidacy. The team also reached out to other notable D.C. figures and groups. Every vote counts. Vote here, if you like.

Update: Yup, the Caps and Wizards have started getting involved, big-time.
