RGIII says he can feel the love from D.C.

Comcast SportsNet’s Chick Hernandez completed an extensive sit-down interview with Robert Griffin III, which will air on the network in several pieces, starting Wednesday.

But the network put one clip up on its site Monday afternoon, and it shows that RGIII is well aware of the excitement he is causing in D.C. This answer came when Hernandez asked about the pitfalls pratfalls he’ll need to avoid.

“You can’t listen to the hype,” Griffin said. “You can listen to the excitement — and I haven’t heard any excitement out of Indianapolis for myself, but I definitely know that the DMV is excited about the chances of me coming into town and being their quarterback. So you listen to that, because that makes you feel appreciated, but you don’t listen to the hype.”

Already with the DMV stuff, eh? Not a bad way to fit in.
