So Robert Grffin III, the presumptive most popular athlete in Washington, attended Baylor’s Elite Eight loss to Kentucky in Atlanta on Sunday afternoon. Things we learned from this appearance:
1) RGIII wears hipster glasses. New to me. John Wall does too, of course. Somebody slip some to Ovechkin. And Strasburg. And Harper. And, uh, Nene, I guess.
2) That “No Pressure No Diamonds” t-shirt he wore after his pro day? Apparently he wears it to every public appearance.
3) As seen below, like every other person in the world, this modern age has left RGIII unable to sit and watch a sporting event without looking down at a phone. It’s a curse, for me, for you, for the woman in the yellow shirt above with the pink phone, and for the quarterback of the future.
