The go-to celebration of the 2011 NFL season was called Tebowing, which was basically just going down to one knee and praying.
So I guess this celebration from Robert Griffin III on Saturday afternoon was sort of a Tebow. It came in the first half, after one of Washington’s two first-half touchdowns.
It lacks the elbow-on-the-knee and the head-on-the-hand of a traditional Tebow, but it’s at least in the same vicinity.
“He’s a leader, he’s a born leader,” Santana Moss said during the Redskins Radio Network broadcast, heard locally on ESPN 980. “He’s gonna always be himself, that’s the thing I like about him....I have to like him. That’s my quarterback.”
