UPDATE: Via the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Matt Gelb, here’s the answer: “Shane Victorino said he was blowing a kiss to a Nationals fan sitting behind the Phillies on-deck circle who heckled him all night.”
In the ninth inning Sunday night, the Phillies scored six runs, helped in part by Shane Victorino’s run-scoring triple.
And after Victorino got to third base, as the video shows, he blew a kiss to someone, and then pointed in the same direction his blown kiss had traveled.
Who was on the receiving end of this bit of wind-swept affection? Opinions varied.
