Syracuse Storms the Court

There are so many reasons this was wrong, from the fact that Syracuse won a national championship within the past five years to the fact that Georgetown isn't even a Top 5 national team to the fact that the Hoyas are now a fairly non-remarkable 4-3 on the road in the Big East to the fact that the Orange is now 17-9. All those being the case, how a court storm seemed even among the post-game possibilities is beyond me. A square dance, maybe, or a group hug or a game of parcheesi. But not a court storm.

Plus they went early. Premature stormulation. Not in any way impressive. The Post-Standard notes several other reasons fans ought to have stayed seated and instead attempted to gather up foam fingers.

I'll quote from a fan on the Real Cuse Fans board:

This is embarassing why are we storming the court. Dont these kids know the history of Syracuse basketball. We are the fifth winniest team of all time. We just be a good Gtown I agree but they are not great.

On the other hand, the close-up here 26 seconds in makes me fairly happy, so whatever. There is some background bad language, if that concerns you.

My feelings exactly. Winnieing teams need to check theyselves when they be being teams.
