Terry Bradshaw ranked RGIII third among rookie quarterbacks

“The third tells you where I’ve got him placed,” Terry Bradshaw said Sunday afternoon, when he ranked Robert Griffin III third among this year’s crop of rookie starting quarterbacks.

Whoops! At least through Week 1, that seemed to be an unfortunate ranking.

The four other rookie QBs who started on Sunday combined for two touchdowns and 11 interceptions in four losses. Griffin had two touchdowns and zero interceptions in a win.

Here they are, by quarterback ranking:

1) RGIII: 19-for-26, 320 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs, 139.9 rating

2) Russell Wilson: 18-for-34, 153 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 62.5 rating

3) Andrew Luck: 23-for-45, 309 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs, 52.9 rating

4) Ryan Tannehill: 20-for-36, 219 yards, 0 TD, 3INTs, 39.0 rating

5) Brandon Weeden: 12-for-35, 118 yards, 0 TD, 4 INTs, 5.1 rating
