The coaching changes in Washington since Bruce Boudreau was hired

(Jeff Gross - GETTY IMAGES)
In late November of 2007, Bruce Boudreau was hired as interim coach of the Caps, a job that eventually lost the interim tag. I’ve pointed out a few times since then how Boudreau is the dean of pro coaches in this town, but even the “pro” thing might be unnecessary soon. The way we’ve been blowing through coaches here, Boudreau’s tenure is starting to look more remarkable than a former NBA star planking in his weight room.

In fact, I just went through and counted 20 D.C.-area head coaches of some significance who have left or lost their jobs since Boudreau first got his.
