Trent Williams’s ‘Silverback’ chain

“I’m always saying how I want to be a beast on the field and Silverback is a beast, so they just kind of gave me the nickname,” Trent Williams said after he was picked by the Redskins and introduced as Trent “Silverback” Williams by Roger Goodell.

Well, I guess he was serious about that nickname. This video (which contains naughty language) came out months ago, but it was only brought to my attention by Reader Matt this week, and it’s fairly remarkable. The jeweler claims the chain pictured is Trent Williams’s, that contains 400-500 carats of black and white diamonds, and that it would be worth $100,000 - $150,000, although Williams, he said, did not pay that much.

Among the highlights: 55 pointers in each eyeball, a “big ass stud” in the ear of the gorilla, and the state of Texas plus T-Will script in the gorilla’s mouth.
