This is several weeks old, but it wouldn’t be the D.C. Sports Bog if I didn’t make a mountain out of a minor sports-related spelling mistake.
And so, here is an image from Verizon Center during Georgetown’s winter break. Apparently the Anacostia High band came and provided some pep. And were repeatedly thanked on the scoreboard. And referred to as “Annacostia.”
