Wizards keep charity appearances interesting

It probably will come as no surprise to learn that Nick Young — while refereeing a Special Olympics basketball game to support the group’s fourth annual “Spread the Word to End the Word” day — decided to perform a halftime trampoline dunk in stripes. That’s Andray Blatche, to his left, looking on. And up.

Nor would you be surprised to see this photo of JaVale McGee at a recent team-sponsored Reading Timeout in honor of Read Across American day.

The Special Olympics game also included Blatche, Rashard Lewis and Chris Singleton as guest coaches, and Jordan Crawford as the second guest referee.
