While most of the fans who take Teddy’s plight seriously were thrilled with today’s victory, some are apparently upset that it came with the assistance of the Phillie Phanatic.
Whether they’re Nats fans who thought Teddy should have won by his own merits, or Phillies fans who object to the implication that their mascot would help the enemy, these folks are not happy.
You can’t please everyone, right?
It’s worth noting that the “Phanatic” used to take out the other three Presidents was fake (phake?). Also, he lost his nose in the process.
Teddy is just like the nationals. Always a loser. The only way he/they can finish first is with the help of the fake Phanatic/Phillies
