Chris Cooley on Adam Carriker: ‘I thought he was going to pile-drive me’

October 8, 2012

In case you didn’t know, Adam Carriker hosts a radio show dedicated to football and wrestling called “4th and Pain.” Chris Cooley was on the show over the weekend, and revealed that he and Carriker had a little misunderstanding when they first became teammates.

During Carriker’s first season as a Redskin, he was watching wrestling on the plane to a preseason game in Arizona. At some point Cooley started making fun of him for it, and Carriker confronted him on the sideline the next day.

“And I thought he was going to beat me to death right there on the sideline,” Cooley said, describing the confrontation. “I thought he was going to pile-drive me right there.”

Of course there was no pile-driving, and the two became friends.

The story starts at the 6:30 mark in the video below.
