I’m pretty sure that when the marketing folks at Virginia-based Cardinal Bank decided to display a super sized version of their logo at the Navy Yard Metro, it was without the premonition that the Nats would be playing the Cardinals in a playoff series. But fate intervened, and now their logo is in the most unfortunate of spots on the most inappropriate of weeks.
UPDATE: Turns out Cardinal Bank is also running large ads on Nats Journal all week. Fun! This deal was arranged several weeks ago, well in advance of the NLDS matchups being set.
