DeAngelo Hall’s freakout during yesterday’s game drew the ire of most Redskins fans, who began to raise the “Cut Him” rally cry. However, there are a few Hall enthusiasts out there who are willing to stand up for embattled cornerback. From the comments on Football Insider:
P1funk: For what it’s worth, Hall was apparently berating the official b/c he thought they were letting Steelers get away with cheap shots all game. If you are a teammate of Hall, you are going to appreciate that he was standing up for the team. Josh Wilson made it sound like Hall was simply articulating what other players were already thinking.
NCSkins: While he certainly crossed a line or two, his behavior was in no way a game changer. At least give him credit for knowing when he could speak his mind and not change the outcome of the game.
chief123: He is my Player of the Game!! Because he is the only Skin who fights!!! The rest of them just take the beating and don’t fight back – DeAngelo at least cares enough to lose his cool. I wish the rest of the players had more passion than what they’ve shown!
HGH Rampage: I loved it, he needed to stand up to that official! J/K, I think if anyone needs to raise a legit fuss its Kerrigan, who routinely gets held up high.

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
“I’ll make sure they play hard for me every play. It’s a special relationship a quarterback has with his receivers. I know when I mess up, and they know when they mess up. We just all have to make sure we don’t continually mess up throughout the game.”
PICTURE OF THE DAY
Sure, they won. But they looked ridiculous doing it.
