Morning Pixels: It’s Movember

November 1, 2012

Every year, men all over the world dub this month Movember, and pledge to grow mustaches to raise awareness for men’s health issues. Two such men are Karl Alzner and Collin Balester, who have been very vocal about their participation in the practice.

Alzner has been recruiting people on Twitter to join in the crusade, and he himself is participating on a fundraising team led by George Parros of the Florida Panthers and includes fellow hockey players such as Jarret Stoll, Trevor Lewis, and others.

If you want to donate, here are the Movember pages for Collin Balester and Karl Alzner. Obviously we’ll keep you posted on the progress of those ‘staches.

“I’d rather be compared to Aaron Rodgers, or a guy like that: someone who’s won Super Bowls.”
