Last week, Kai Forbath revealed that his kicking shoe is three sizes smaller than his normal, walking-around shoe. The process to get his size 10.5 foot into a 7.5 soccer cleat is lengthy and uncomfortable, but the kicker says his distance is better for it.
Forbath promised a photo of his shoes side by side, and he has come through. Ouch.
For the record, Forbath’s 9-for-9 start on field goals is a franchise best. Hail to his tiny shoe.
