Robert Griffin III is no dummy, and he has learned pretty quickly to use the media to his advantage when he wants to send a message out. During yesterday’s presser, RGIII was asked about his ability to plant and throw following Sunday’s injury.
“Planting and throwing is not a problem. You know, I went and did some planting and throwing out here all day,” he replied. “I don’t know if you guys saw the wave. I waved at you guys. Just letting you guys know I’m okay.”
Sure enough, in the video below, you’ll see RGIII giving thumbs-ups, pointing and waving at the media during practice. So, passing the message along. RGIII says he’s feeling okay, you guys.
And because the world seems to be on RGIII injury watch, here’s a photo gallery of the rookie quarterback practicing.

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
RGIII on race:
“For me, you don’t ever want to be defined by the color of your skin. You want to be defined by your work ethic, the person that you are, your character, your personality. That’s what I strive [for]. I am an African American, in America, and that will never change. But I don’t have to be defined by that.”
