We’ve talked a lot about how D.C. teams are so supportive of each other. Team Twitter accounts sending out good luck or congratulatory messages, Nats players supporting Redskins players and vice versa, everyone getting behind each playoff team.
The Dallas Cowboys might want to take a lesson. Or at least whoever runs their Twitter account should. As first reported on The Early Lead on Tuesday, the Dallas Stars took to Twitter to defend themselves after a snarky tweet from the Cowboys’ official Twitter feed raised some eyebrows.

The original tweet from the Cowboys account was deleted and replaced with an apology. I’ll bet the Cowboys now regret giving Rob Ryan the Twitter password.

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
Troy Brouwer on Nicklas Backstrom:
“I think this team revolves around Nicky Backstrom. The way he controls the play, controls the puck. When he’s out there, thinking clearly, making sure he’s making smart plays, there’s not many players better than him.”
HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT
Hey, look. John Wall practicing full speed.
