John Wall crossover makes Ish Smith fall over

January 14, 2013

John Wall ran his personal win streak to eight on Monday as the Wizards routed the Magic at home. Which is weird to type.

Wall capped one of the Wizards’s best quarters of the season — a 37-point third-quarter explosion — with one of the team’s most memorable plays, crossing up Ish Smith, making Smith fall over, pausing to read Smith the Gettysburg Address and recite a few verses of poetry and use a lint remover on his socks, and then flinging the ball to Kevin Seraphin for an easy layup while Smith still attempted to recover his senses and any various body parts that may have scattered on the floor.

And yes, the Wizards still have won few games and lost many this season, so take this all for what it’s worth. But it was fun to look at, anyhow. See the GIF here.
