Caps players discuss best-looking teammate

When Mike Green was the only Caps player to earn a spot on Cosmo’s list of hottest hockey players, it raised some eyebrows. I mean, the Caps have a pretty decent-looking roster.

Team reporter Casey Phillips decided to ask the players themselves if they agreed with Green’s accomplishment and which teammate they thought deserved the honors. Some one them seem a little salty that they weren’t included in the polling.

Jason Chimera: “They obviously didn’t interview me. I’m pretty good looking. Joel Ward’s a pretty good-looking guy. Maybe Mike Ribeiro, he’s a good-looking guy. I don’t think any of our D-men are good looking.”

Jay Beagle: “I think Joey Crabb should probably take his place. Mike Green, he’s a good-looking guy, don’t get me wrong. But I think Crabber could give him a run for his money.”

Eric Fehr: “I think in the top 30 they should have Braden Holtby, a real sharp young lad. He dresses the part. He’s just a real good-looking guy.”

Joel Ward: “I’d like to see who’s writing all that stuff.”

Braden Holtby: “I think Greenie fits the part well. He dresses really well, he’s got a good style to him, got some good looking tattoos and whatnot. He definitely deserves that.”

John Carlson: “Yeah, he’s definitely a good-looking guy. Yup.”

Mike Green: “Probably the pretty boy, Brooks Laich. All the girls seem to like him, so…”
