John Wall’s surprise block on Carmelo Anthony (Video)

Not everyone thinks John Wall is a franchise player, but his owning of Carmelo Anthony last night is one for the highlight reel. A surprise block and a one-man fast break complete with a spin in the lane — someone get this to Stan Van Gundy.

In the crowd last night was Wall’s coach at Kentucky, John Calipari.

“It was good for his first time to come see me this season,” Wall said. “Great to talk to him. He just gave me advice after the game and told me what I need to keep working on and happy to see me doing well.”
