If you’ve always wanted a 1982 Redskins Super Bowl ring and have a spare $22,000 hanging around, then here you go. An eBay listing featuring one of the late Mel Kaufman’s Championship rings has popped up, via Yahoo Sports.
From the listing:
Here is a gorgeous 1982 Super XVII Championship ring that was presented to a defensive starter on that team. The ring will come with a letter of authenticity from the family. The ring is in near mint condition. It is a size 11.5. It is hallmarked 10k, has very nice natural diamonds and weighs 50.1 grams. It also comes with the original box.
The ring is listed by a company called “We Buy Treasure,” so it’s unclear if they currently own it or are selling it on behalf of Kaufman’s family.
If $22,000 is a bit steep for you (but, free shipping!), then perhaps you can own Joe Duckworth’s Redskins alumni ring for $2,895.
