When the news broke yesterday about Jason Collins coming out, Wizards teammate Martell Webster offered a great reaction to it.

Webster sat down with Fox12 in Portland to talk about his support for Collins.
“You love who you want to love, and love them with all your heart,” he told the station. “If you like it, I love it. If he loves another man, I’m happy for him and I support him.”
Webster went on to mention that this isn’t the first time that the sports world has found itself at the center of a contorvesial issue, and he’s pretty confident that the NBA and its fans will work it out.
“When we first integrated, you know, colored people playing in these professional leagues, it was a problem,” he explained. “But what happened? We all adjusted, and eventually everyone was in favor of it.”
The Wizards swingman ended the interview by narrowing the conversation down to what he feels is the bottom line.
“The fact that we’re in a positing now where we’re starting to embrace people as they are, that’s just completely, in all capitals, LOVE. That’s love.”
