The Star Press did an interesting profile of Ryan Kerrigan, focusing on his “good guy” reputation and his friendship with Logan Paulsen. From the story, which is worth the click:
Paulsen was signed by the Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He was at the bottom of their pay scale, and he assumed Kerrigan would hang out with the multimillionaire in-crowd. He discovered as time went on that Kerrigan wasn’t part of that clique, and that the two players had more in common than the number of zeroes on each of their contracts would indicate.
“We started inviting him out, and the friendship just started growing from there,” Paulsen says. “We just kind of clicked, and then I got to know how good of a guy he was and what kind of person he was.”
I’m not sure I agree with the assessment that the size of their contracts makes them unlikely buddies. Kerrigan resides only a few lockers away from Paulsen at Redskins Park, and their similar personalities make them a good fit.
Also, it seems that Paulsen is recruiting Kerrigan into the family.
“He’s a guy that I have a lot of respect for,” Paulsen says. “I always tell my wife, if there’s one guy on the team I’d want my daughter to date, it would be Ryan Kerrigan.”

WEB SITE PARKING OF THE DAY
It seems that a number of bloggers and other media types (including myself) got an email from a fellow who purchased the domain poprocksandtootsiepops.com after RGIII’s curious video surfaced, and offered this explanation: “I am a full time real estate investor in my day job and thought I would flip this website similar to a property to an avid redskins fan, RG3 himself, or maybe even hold on to it and try to do something with it.” The bidding will start at you can’t be serious.
