Dan showed you the Fred Davis touchdown celebration that drew a 15-yard penalty for excessive celebration. But exactly what was he doing? Dan suggested some sort of taser pantomime, but Mike Jones got the real explanation after the game.
“I don’t even know. It was spontaneous. I don’t know what I was doing, actually,” he said. “I’ve got to put more thought into it. I cost my team a penalty, so it wasn’t a good celebration.”
“I just spazzed out…It was dumb,” he continued. “I cost my team a penalty and for them to get the ball [in such good position]. I’m definitely going to come up with a better plan next time.”
Kirk Cousins had his own celebration after the same touchdown. Pretty sure this one wasn’t planned, either. (via DC Sports Nexus)

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
Kirk Cousins, on completing his first five passes to five receivers:
“I really was just going where the call dictated. It’s unique that it was to five different guys. It’s neat to get everyone involved. I think that’s something we’d like to see happen in the offense, but it wasn’t by design. It was simply where my reads were taking me.”
