On Tuesday, the Redskins held their sixth annual All-Star Survivors Celebration. Twenty cancer survivors were treated to a day of pampering, including makeup consultations, massages, wigs, scarves, new jeans and other special surprises, with Redskins players on hand to escort them through the afternoon.
Hosted by Chris Cooley and Tanya Snyder, the day started with some lunch, before the women and players were turned loose on the various stations set up for them. The players played an active role in the day, and as is team tradition, some of them — including RGIII, Darrel Young, and Josh Wilson — tried on wigs (more on that here).
Wilson, Darryl Tapp and Stephen Bowen took their group on a tour of the facilities, with a stop in the weight room.
RGIII took some time to hang out with the women of the day.
Josh Wilson picked up some brushes and tried his hand at makeup application.
Alfred Morris lead a dance marathon…
…and then handed out some hugs.
