Redskins broadcast booth sings ‘Hail to the Redskins’

Early in the second quarter on Sunday, Reed Doughty broke up a pass, and Brian Orakpo grabbed the floating ball and returned it for a touchdown, and the Redskins had — in a matter of seconds — turned a seven-point deficit into a seven-point lead.

This pleased the Redskins Radio Network broadcast team of Larry Michael, Sonny Jurgensen, Chris Cooley and Doc Walker.

And so — as heard locally on ESPN 980 — they broke out in song. This is as merry and full-throated a version of “Hail to the Redskins” as you will ever hear from four sober men in suits.
