“He’s much better than week one,” Jaworski said. “I thought he was miserable week one. He shouldn’t have played week one. He missed the whole offseason.
“And I was very candid about that, not only before he played but after he played,” he continued. “I went back to last year and showed his mechanics and how beautiful they were a year ago, and he just wasn’t ready week one. He’s much further along right now, but he’s still not the guy that we saw last year. And I’m not sure we’ll ever see that guy. I’m seeing Von Miller catching him from behind. Jackson, the nose tackle from Denver, [caught] him from behind. Yes, he’s a very talented guy. He will get better as he gets healthier. But he’s clearly not the guy he was a year ago.”
Take that for whatever it’s worth. If you ask RGIII himself, he probably wouldn’t put much stock in it.
“I’ve got tough skin,” Griffin said during his weekly press conference on Wednesday. “My parents brought me up the right way — military background, discipline and all that stuff — and I’m happy to call them my parents and they’ve done a great job there for me. I have all that inside of me and that’s all it takes. You’ve got to have it inside of you to make it in this world and that’s what I have got to do.”

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
RGIII on criticism in a larger media market:
“You take life as it comes. Life’s going to throw you curveballs sometimes. You just have got to figure out which ones to try and hit. Right now, it’s not a burden. It’s a burden if you make it a burden. You’ve got to believe. It only takes one person to believe so you can have success. I always believe in this team. I always believe in these players and so on and so on. That’s what it is for me. It’s not a burden. I understand what comes with being the quarterback of the Washington Redskins. I understand what comes with being a quarterback in the NFL. And yeah, it might be a little harder here because of certain aspects of what goes on around this team. I understand that.”
