Maryland marching band spells ‘ACC’ and ‘B1G’

Maryland’s move to the Big Ten from the ACC has created some tension between the school and its former conference, who are in a battle over the $52 million exit fee imposed by the ACC. The ACC sued Maryland, Maryland counter-sued the ACC, and a recent court ruling was in favor of the conference. It’s not exactly an amicable parting of ways.

But you know who’s not going to make it awkward? The Maryland marching band, which spelled out both “ACC” and “B1G” in human form on the field during halftime on Saturday against Boston. It was the football team’s final ACC home game, and perhaps a tribute to the old and celebration of the new.
