Restaurateur David Chang wants to buy the Redskins

Popular restaurateur David Chang proposed an interesting idea on Twitter last night.

Six billion is a bit steep for a Twitter handle, so let’s assume he’s talking about buying the team.

Chang, a native of Vienna, Va., who attended Georgetown Prep and has spoken openly about his Washington fandom, is known for his Momofuku restaurant empire. You may have seen him on Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations,” “Top Chef” and “Treme,” among a host of other appearances.

Forget for a minute that there are six billion reasons why this would never work, and imagine concessions filled with bo ssam, Momofuku fried chicken and compost cookies. That would do a lot to boost the much maligned fan experience at FedEx Field (which would hopefully be renamed Momofuku Field).

The tweet was met with several initial investment offers of $5-20. Only several billion to go.
