When I posted images of the Redskins 2013 season tickets back in July, I didn’t think twice about Robert Griffin III’s face adorning the tickets for the home finale against Dallas.
He was brilliant in leading Washington to two wins over their rivals in 2012. He was the league’s reigning offensive rookie of the year, and Washington’s best and most popular player. While his availability for the home opener against Philly was still in doubt at that point, no one was worried about a game in December. And the possibility that he could be benched for
performance spite leverage mysticism offseason health purposes would have been laughable.
Well, friends, here we are. Robert Griffin III’s smiling face will stare up at you next week as you enter FedEx Field for a game in which he will be a healthy scratch.
