Bryce Harper ejected from spring training game

The real baseball games will start soon enough. The current baseball games don’t count for much of anything. But the passion is still there.

And so, observe. After a long at-bat in the fourth inning Wednesday afternoon, Bryce Harper grounded out on a close play at first base.

He hollered, and was seen talking as he headed back to the dugout, whether to himself or someone else I do not know.

Then he was ejected, and angrily confronted the first-base umpire.

Eventually, he was made to leave, exiting via an outfield gate, while Matt Williams argued with the home-plate umpire.

And others tried to figure out exactly what had just happened.
