Bryce Harper watches brother pitch at Potomac Nationals game

As noted by Nats Enquirer, Bryce Harper was at the Potomac Nationals game last night and he wasn’t there to see Adam LaRoche’s first rehab start. At least that wasn’t Harper’s only motivation for making the trip.

Harper got to see his older brother pitch for the first time since Bryan was at the University of South Carolina.

Bryan Harper allowed two hits and a run in 2 1/3 innings in relief in the Nationals’ 6-4 loss to Lynchburg. In case you’re wondering, yes, he’s still rocking one of the best mustaches in baseball.

LaRoche went 0 for 2 but said his leg felt great. Before heading to Potomac, LaRoche met with U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins of Kansas about building a baseball complex at his high school alma mater, Fort Scott.
