The U-Conn. men’s and women’s basketball teams visited the White House on Monday to celebrate their NCAA championships, and for the second year in a row, Stefanie Dolson stole the show. The Washington Mystics’ No. 6 pick in this year’s WNBA draft fell off the riser after both U-Conn. teams posed for a group photo with President Obama.

Dolson, who is averaging 6.9 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Mystics, was unhurt and shared a laugh with Obama after her fall.

During the Huskies’ 2013 visit to the White House, Dolson gave Obama bunny ears and challenged him to a dance-off. Obama agreed to the challenge if U-Conn. repeated as champions, which it did, in undefeated fashion.

“Stefanie, I did not forget that you challenged me to a dance-off last year,” Obama said Monday. “It is going to happen. It is going to happen. … Don’t think that you’re going to beat me on that. I also appreciate that you told the world about it after the title game. I have daughters in junior high and high school, and for their sake, I will not be dancing around too much while the cameras are around.”

Dolson was a fan favorite at today’s celebration.
