Bryce Harper wasn’t the only local-ish sports figure to be doused with two buckets of cold liquid on Thursday. Down in Blacksburg, Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge, a campaign to raise awareness about ALS that involves taking video of oneself getting soaked by ice-cold water and then challenging another person to do the same.

Beamer, whose reaction after getting drenched is priceless, challenged Arizona Cardinals head coach and Virginia Tech alum Bruce Arians.

Meanwhile, in Charlottesville, Virginia football coach Mike London accepted the challenge from Cavaliers assistant coach Tom O’Brien. London, who was doused by only one bucket, then challenged former U-Va. star Chris Long and former U-Va. assistants Danny Rocco and Anthony Poindexter.

Your move, Randy Edsall.
