Cuts Mean Fewer Library Hours, No Bookmobile

The bookmobile will be parked and hours at all D.C. libraries will be reduced starting in October because of budget cuts.

The fiscal 2010 budget slashed the library budget by $4.8 million, and residents will feel the impact next month.

All libraries will continue to be open every day but Sunday.
