D.C. Mayor Adrian M. Fenty (D) was promoting improvements to this year's summer youth jobs program at Ballou Senior High School yesterday when another issue came falling down.
He was in a first-floor classroom with several students, demonstrating how to register online when there was a sudden thud.
"Whoa!" he said.
A ceiling tile had dropped onto a table.
Fenty has made improving public education and school buildings a priority of his administration. Will Ballou move to the top of the list?
