Nickles and Gray Meet About Tickets

Attorney General Peter J. Nickles, the mayor's troubleshooter, said he met with Council Chairman Vincent C. Gray (D) last night and one of the topics was, of course, tickets to the Washington Nationals' baseball games.

The council is again wrestling with Mayor Adrian M. Fenty (D) over tickets to a suite. Nickles swooped in last year and resolved the stalemate. So last night's meeting appeared to kick off the new round of negotiations.

Will the council get tickets to tonight's game against the Phillies?

"I'm doing all I can," Nickles said.

Then, Nickles quipped, "It'll probably get rained out."
