D.C. residents who want to learn more about the plan for renovating and rebuilding public schools can attend two meetings this week.
The first is 6 p.m. tonight at Francis-Stevens Education Education Campus, 2425 N Street N.W. The second will be 6 p.m. tomorrow at Fletcher-Johnson School, 4650 Benning Rd. S.E.
The "master facilities plan," as proposed earlier this month by Mayor Adrian M. Fenty, would bring extensive physical improvements to every classroom in the District by 2014.
The D.C. Council , which must approve the plan, is scheduled to hold a hearing Thursday at 11 a.m.
