A.M. commute: Red Line delays on Metro

Here’s what to expect on your Tuesday morning commute:

Metrorail: Tuesday morning kicked off with more delays on Metro’s Red Line. WMATA announced around 6 a.m. that trains are single-tracking between Union Station and Judiciary Square due to a track problem at Judiciary Square. The problem has been resolved, but riders should expect residual delays.

District: A lane on I-295 South past Pennsylvania Avenue SE will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for construction.

Virginia: The left lane on I-495 at Little River Turnpike will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for construction.

Tell us what you’re seeing on the roads and rails in the comments below or tweet @drgridlock.
