Blue and Orange Line delays cleared

8:40 A.M. Update:

The delays should be clear on the Blue and Orange lines, according to Metro.

8:20 A.M. Update:

The situation involving the sick customer at L’Enfant Plaza has been resolved, but there are still delays in both directions on the Blue and Orange lines.

8:05 A.M. Update:

There are delays on the Blue and Orange lines due to a sick customer at L’Enfant Plaza. Trains are single-tracking between the Federal Center and Smithsonian stations.

7:04 A.M. Update:

The Blue and Yellow Lines appear to be free of delays.

6:45 A.M. Update:

Normal service should be resuming shortly on the Blue and Yellow lines, according to Metro. The disabled equipment that caused delays earlier has been cleared.

6:33 A.M. Update:

The earlier problem outside of Crystal City appears to have been resolved, but delays remain in both directions on the Blue and Yellow lines.

Original Post:

The Blue and Yellow Lines are delayed in both directions due to a track problem outside of the Crystal City Metro station. Trains are single-tracking between the Pentagon City and National Airport stations.
