8:30 A.M. Update:

Again, eastbound Clarendon Boulevard has reopened between North Pierce and North Oak streets in Arlington. Some side streets remain closed around that spot in Rosslyn, but traffic heading into Rosslyn can use Clarendon Boulevard again.

The delays on eastbound I-66 at the Beltway have lessened from earlier this morning, but drivers are still dealing with some congestion there.

Traffic signals are reportedly flashing at Massachusetts Avenue, 48th Street and Fordham Road in Northwest Washington.

The D.C. Fire Department is responding to something in the 1900 block of T Place in Southeast Washington, which could cause traffic issues in that vicinity.

7:50 A.M. Update:

Eastbound Clarendon Boulevard has reopened to traffic between North Pierce and North Oak streets in Arlington. Some neighborhood streets are closed around the construction site, so drivers should expect delays in the area, but Clarendon Boulevard is open again.

The outer loop of the Beltway is backed up at Van Dorn Street.

Original Post:

Good morning, commuters. It’ll be cloudy and muggy today, with some storms potentially arriving in the afternoon, according to the Capital Weather Gang. We’ll be keeping tabs on any headaches, issues or problems we hear about on the roads this morning. Make sure to tell us about anything you see out there — either in the comments below or via Twitter (@DrGridlock).

So far:

Eastbound Clarendon Boulevard remains closed between North Pierce and North Oak streets in Arlington due to a construction site collapse. If you’re heading for Rosslyn, expect to hit congestion this morning. Drivers seeking alternate routes should use Lee Highway or Arlington Boulevard.

ART bus 45 and Metrobus 38B are being detoured due to the road closure, so while the buses are making all the stops there might be some delays on those routes this morning.

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Telegraph Road is blocking the right shoulder.

In Maryland, an accident on I-95 North between Powder Mll Road/MD 212 and Sandy Spring Road/MD 198 is blocking one of the shoulders.
