Outer loop lane blocked at I-66

8:35 A.M. Update:

An accident on northbound G.W. Parkway at Route 50 is blocking one lane. Expect massive congestion approaching Arlington Cemetery and the Memorial Bridge.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at I-66 is still blocking the left lane. Expect very heavy delays.

An accident on Michigan Avenue and Warder Street NW could cause problems there.

And watch out for delays stemming from an accident on Wisconsin Avenue and Q Street NW.

The accident on northbound Frederick Avenue has been cleared and all lanes reopened.

8:10 A.M. Update:

An accident on northbound Frederick Avenue/MD 355 is blocking all northbound lanes at Montgomery Village Avenue/MD 124.

The accident on I-395 North at Duke Street has been cleared and the left lane and left shoulder reopened. Expect serious delays to linger for a while.

7:45 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at I-66 is now only blocking the left lane.

The debris on the inner loop of the Beltway at Georgia Avenue has been cleared and the lane reopened.

The disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway before Colesville Road has also been cleared.

7:25 A.M. Update:

Debris on the inner loop of the Beltway is blocking one lane at Georgia Avenue.

There’s also a disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway before Colesville Road, which could cause delays approaching that spot.

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at I-66 is blocking the right two lanes.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road is blocking the left shoulder.

7:10 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-95 South to the south of the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right shoulder.

6:55 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-395 North at Duke Street is blocking the left lane and left shoulder.

6:40 A.M. Update:

Streets are blocked around 18th and L Street NW and Connecticut Avenue and M Street NW, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Avoid this area.

The disabled vehicle on I-395 North before Edsall Road has been cleared from the shoulder.

6:20 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard has been cleared from the shoulder.

A disabled vehicle on I-395 North before Edsall Road is blocking the right shoulder.

A disabled vehicle on I-95 North at Prince William Parkway is blocking the right shoulder of the H.O.V. lanes.

Good morning, commuters! Winter weather and snow could arrive on Saturday, so Friday will be a colder, cloudier day, according to the Capital Weather Gang.
