Accident cleared on I-495 N. in Va.

8:45 A.M. Update

On I-495 North at mile marker 50 in Fairfax County, motorists can expect potential delays due to a tractor trailer accident. The right shoulder is closed.

8:20 A.M. Update

Route 123 North in Tysons Corner is jammed due to an accident. Only the right lane gets by.

A disabled bus is tying up South Capitol Street N. at Galveston Street SW. Traffic slows before Southern Avenue.

8 A.M. Update

A disabled vehicle is being reported on I-95 North in Fairfax County. No through lanes are blocked, but expect possible delays.

7:40 A.M. Update

All through lanes are milled, but not paved on Route 29 South in Maryland between Briggs Chaney Road and E. Randolph Road. Expect delays of up to 15 minutes.

7:20 A.M. Update

An accident is blocking the right shoulder on I-66 East near Route 123.

Arlington County officials are reporting an accident involving a pedestrian on U.S. 1 North and 23rd Street S.

7 A.M. Update

An accident is being reported on the Prince William Parkway at Tattersall Drive, north of Route 234.

6:40 A.M. Update

The left lane and shoulder have reopened northbound on the Virginia Capital Beltway between the Dulles Toll Road and Route 123. The earlier accident has been cleared.

6:20 A.M. Update

In Virginia, the left lane and shoulder are closed on I-495 North between the Dulles Toll Road and Route 123.

All lanes are open on Route 1 North in the Woodbridge area. The earlier crash has been moved to the shoulder.

The left turn lanes northbound on Georgia Avenue in Maryland are closed due to a water valve break being repaired there.

A crash is blocking two northbound lanes of U.S. Route 1 at Cardinal Drive in the Woodbridge area.
