Delays on Metro’s Red Line cleared

11:08 a.m. Update: Metro says the delays have been cleared.

10:44 a.m. Update: Metro says the situation at Union Station has been resolved, too. However, the delays continue.

10:33 a.m. Update: Delays continue due to the Friendship Heights train malfunction, which Metro says has been resolved. And a new problem has occurred at Union Station where Metro says a sick customer is aboard a train. That is causing delays in both directions on the Red Line as well. Trains are single-tracking between the New York Avenue and Judiciary Square stations.
