Chain Bridge Road closed at International Drive

8:50 A.M. Update:

The intersection of Chain Bridge Road and International Drive in Tysons Corner is closed, blocking Chain Bridge Road in both directions at this spot. Avoid the area if possible, and expect major delays in the vicinity.

There’s an accident on Maine Avenue between 12th and 14th streets in Southwest and an accident on southbound I-295 at Eastern Avenue in Southeast.

8:20 A.M. Update:

The outer loop lane has reopened at the Dulles Toll Road.

There’s an accident on the westbound Southeast/Southwest Freeway at 6th Street, according tot he District Department of Transportation. Stay to the left as you approach this spot. And an accident at New Hampshire Avenue at Rittenhouse Street in Northwest could cause issues.

An accident in the 2600 block of 16th Street in Northwest Washington reportedly involves a school bus, according to D.C. Fire.

8:05 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at the Dulles Toll Road is blocking the left center lane.

7:55 A.M. Update:

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard is now just blocking the left shoulder. There are still pretty heavy delays.

The I-95 rest stop at Dale City is closed to both directions until noon, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Northbound I-95 is very, very backed up approaching the Springfield Interchange.

7:35 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at the Leesburg Pike is blocking the left lane.

There’s another accident on eastbound I-66 at the Beltway, blocking the right lane.

A smoking manhole at 21st and O streets in Northwest could cause traffic issues, according to D.C. Fire.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway after New Hampshire Avenue has now been completely cleared. You can still expect some residual issues approaching this spot.

7:10 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway after New Hampshire Avenue is now just blocking the shoulder.

In Virginia, the accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard is still blocking the left lane and left shoulder.

Expect big problems approaching both spots.

6:55 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway is blocking the left shoulder and left lane at Arlington Boulevard/U.S. 50.

6:50 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway after New Hampshire Avenue is blocking two lanes and one of the shoulders.

The Post’s Justin Jouvenal has more on the fatal accident in Haymarket involving five high schoolers.

6:30 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on I-66 East has been cleared and the lane reopened.

I-95 North is heavily backed up approaching Woodbridge right now, with delays stretching back a few miles.

6:10 A.M. Update:

There’s a disabled vehicle blocking the east right lane on I-66 at the Beltway.

The disabled vehicle on the inner loop has been cleared.

Good morning, commuters. The weather should be pretty mild this morning, with the possibility of a little rain and some wind over the next few hours, according to the Capital Weather Gang.

There’s a disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66, blocking the left shoulder.

NBC4 is reporting a fatal accident on Logmill Road in Haymarket involving five teenagers.
