Inner loop lane blocked at I-66

8:35 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66 is blocking the left lane. This spot is always congested, but you can expect delays to be even worse this morning.

The accident on I-95 South just south of the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right outside lane and the right shoulder.

8:30 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Annapolis Road has been cleared and all lanes reopened.

8 :05 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-95 South just south of the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right shoulder and could cause some delays there.

Two outer loop lanes remain blocked at Annapolis Road.

7:45 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Annapolis Road is blocking two lanes and one of the shoulders.

7:35 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-295 Northbound at Firth Sterling Avenue in Southeast Washington has been cleared and all lanes reopened.

7:30 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-295 Northbound at Firth Sterling Avenue in Southeast Washington is blocking the far left lane, so traffic gets by on the right three lanes.

7:15 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-295 Northbound at Firth Sterling Avenue in Southeast Washington is blocking one lane.

I-95 North is jammed up around the Fairfax County Parkway.

I-66 East is also pretty slow near Nutley Street.

6:50 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is very, very backed up around King and Duke streets. To the south, I-95 North around Woodbridge also remains very congested.

6:35 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway is blocking the left shoulder at Arlington Boulevard.

The accident on I-95 North near Woodbridge has been cleared. A disabled vehicle remains in the same area.

6:20 A.M. Update:

There’s still an accident and a disabled vehicle on I-95 North near Woodbridge. Northbound traffic is moving, but it’s fairly slow right now.

Good morning, commuters! The first Monday morning commute of October will resemble Sunday’s weather, with chilly temperatures and more showers throughout the day, according to the Capital Weather Gang. So far: Due to an accident and a disabled vehicle on I-95 North near Woodbridge, drivers should expect delays in that area.
