VRE trains moving after fire

5:35 p.m. Update: VRE says the fire is reported to be out and trains should be running on time.

Original post: A fire reported south of Backlick Road Station on the Manassas Line has halted all trains in the area, according to officials with Virginia Railway Express.

Trains 331 and 333 will be delayed, officials said. Train traffic has been stopped at the request of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, they said.
