Blue and Yellow Line delays cleared

The Blue and Yellow delays have cleared, according to Metro.

The train malfunction outside of King Street has been resolved, but delays continue on the Blue and Yellow lines to Largo Town Center and Mt. Vernon Square.

There are now delays on the Blue and Yellow lines due to a train malfunction outside King Street. There are delays heading to Largo Town Center and Mt. Vernon Square.

The Forest Glen station has reopened, according to Metro.

5:57 A.M. UPDATE:

Shuttle bus service has been established between the Silver Spring, Forest Glen and Wheaton stations on the Red Line, according to Metro. The rail agency recommends that riders also consider the Q2 Metrobus as a viable alternative to the shuttle, since it connects the Wheaton and Silver Spring stations.

ORIGINAL POST:

The Forest Glen station on Metro’s Red Line is closed because of mechanical problems with its elevators, according to Metro. Shuttle bus service has been established between the Wheaton and Silver Spring stations.

Trains are passing through, but not servicing, the station.
